myths & tales:

This is my design for a poster for the annual Temple Student Film Festival. (If you live in the Philadelphia area and are interested in attending, the information is all available on this image!) It was in competition with the other designs of my classmates to be actually printed and placed around Temple main campus (and likely other nearby places). Although it was not chosen, I am still very pleased with how it turned out. I investigated a color scheme I would not normally choose, and I got an opportunity to utilize typography. This was also the second time I have ever colored a linework image in Photoshop.
    The overall design was heavily influenced by the Art Nouveau movement, particularly the works of Alfons Mucha, but I feel that the color scheme and the woman's almost confrontative gaze serve to give it a more contemporary feel. The original size is 10" by 16".
